'Fainted, Collapsed To Ground': Shocking Incident Of Chain Snatching From Woman In Delhi's Shakurpur Caught On Camera

Shocking CCTV footage of a chain-snatching incident has surfaced on social media from Delhi's Shakarpur area. The footage captures a man stealthily following the woman before grabbing her neck from behind to snatch her gold earrings and chain. The robber almost choked the woman to death as she fainted and collapsed on the ground.

The incident reportedly took place around 10 PM in East Delhi's Shakarpur police station D Block area, where robbers mercilessly dragged a woman to the ground and robbed her, then walked away casually.

It is being alleged that despite CCTV footage clearly showing that the victim was robbed, Shakarpur police showed reluctance to file a case and instead pressurised the victim and her family, after which the family decided not to pursue their complaint further.

Notably, just a few steps away from where this incident occurred is the home of the Shahdara zone MCD chairman. People are raising questions about policing.
