Jammu: Terrorists opened fire on on a temporary Army camp in the forest area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district in the wee hours of Saturday. India Army soldiers retaliated strongly. The incident took place a day ahead of the 76th Republic Day of India.
According to the Indian Army, a suspicious movement in the Bhatodi area was noticed and an exchange of fire took place after that. A few round were reportedly fired.

Meanwhile, a cordon and search operation has been launched to tarce the terrorists.
There are no reports of any casualties or injuries so far.
