Shocking Visuals: Stray Dog Attacks Girl Child, Tries To Drag Her In Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur

Tiruvallur: A shocking incident surfaced from Tamil Nadu's Thiruvallur, where a stray dog attacked a girl child. The incident was recorded on camera. The disturbing visuals surfaced online.

In the video, it could be seen that the child was walking on a narrow street in a residential area of the town along with her mother. The dog suddenly attacked the child. The animal tried to drag the child by her dress. The exact date of the incident is not known.

The girl's mother, who was just walking behind her, rescued her from the dog attack. She shooed the canine away. After hearing the girl child's screams, locals also came out of their houses.

Notably, people in the area are demanding action against stray dogs in the area. The girl received only minor injuries.

Girl Died Died In Mumbai Hospital After Dog Bite:

In a similar incident which took place in May this year, a nine-year-old girl from Maharashtra's Thane district died after being attacked by a stray dog. The deceased, Ritika Karochiya, lived with her parents in Badlapur area.

The incident occurred near her house on May 4 when a stray dog bit her thumb while she was playing with friends.

According to health officials, passersby and locals rushed to the scene and rescued the girl. Her parents were informed, and she was taken to the Primary Health Center in Badlapur, where she received one rabies injection. She also received a second dose on May 7. However, she did not visit the hospital for the third dose scheduled for May 11.

Her health began deteriorating on May 21, and she was taken to a private hospital, where doctors diagnosed hydrophobia and advised her parents to shift her to Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai. Unfortunately, she died during treatment on May 22.
