Rajasthan: Youth Washes Scorpio With Diesel At Petrol Pump, Arrested After Video Goes Viral

A shocking case of negligence and showmanship has emerged from Sirohi district, where a viral video showed a youth washing his Scorpio SUV with diesel at a petrol pump.

The incident reportedly took place in the Shivganj–Paladi M area, where the youth was seen pouring diesel directly onto the vehicle using. The act was recorded by a bystander and quickly spread across social media, triggering widespread outrage.

Locals criticised the reckless wastage of fuel, especially at a time when prices remain high. Many also flagged the serious safety risk posed by such actions at a petrol pump, warning that it could have led to a fire or major accident.

Following the video’s circulation, the matter reached the police, who launched an investigation to identify those involved. According to report, Sirohi Police took swift action and arrested two individuals, including Mahipal Singh from Chhiba village, for disturbing public order.

The police also seized the Scorpio SUV used in the stunt. Authorities said the act appeared to be performed for social media content, but stressed that such behaviour sends a wrong message and endangers lives.
