Rajasthan IAS Reshuffle: Tina Dabi Moved To Tonk, Ria Dabi Gets Key Role In CM Office
Rajasthan transferred 65 IAS officers in a major reshuffle, with Tina Dabi moved from Barmer to politically sensitive Tonk, and Ria Dabi appointed Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office. The changes have drawn attention due to their significance, while several other districts also received new collectors as part of the administrative overhaul.

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Rajasthan, the state government has transferred 65 IAS officers, with sisters Tina Dabi and Ria Dabi drawing significant attention due to their new postings.
Tina Dabi has been shifted from her role as District Collector of Barmer to Tonk. During her tenure in Barmer, a border district, she earned recognition for her administrative firmness and grassroots-level governance. Her transfer to Tonk, which is considered a politically sensitive district and where Sachin Pilot holds significant influence, has sparked speculation about the move being strategic rather than routine. While officially termed a standard administrative exercise, sources suggest the transfer reflects a mix of administrative and political considerations, given Tonk’s complex social and political dynamics.
Meanwhile, Ria Dabi has been appointed as Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office, a key position that involves direct engagement with top-level governance. The role includes monitoring policy decisions, coordinating between departments, and overseeing implementation. Her appointment is being viewed as a sign of the government’s trust, as the CM Office is central to the state’s administrative functioning.
