AAP Rejects MLA Anmol Gagan Mann’s Resignation Day After She Quits Politics |

Chandigarh: Ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday rejected the resignation of its Kharar MLA Anmol Gagan Maan a day after she submitted it with Punjab assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan.

State AAP president Aman Arora said on Sunday in a post (in Punjabi) on X: "Today, I met @AnmolGaganMann in a family atmosphere. The party decided to reject her resignation as an MLA, which she accepted. We asked her to continue working together for the progress of the party and the constituency. Anmol was, is and will remain a part of the family of @ArvindKejriwal ji and @AamAadmiParty’’.

A former minister in the AAP government, Anmol submitted her resignation to the state assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Saturday and said in a post on X: ``My heart is heavy, but I have decided to quit politics. My resignation from the post of MLA to the Speaker should be accepted at the earliest. My best wishes are with the party. I hope the Punjab government will live up to the expectations of the people’’.
