PM Narendra Modi Reaches BJP Headquarters In Delhi, Waves Gamcha In Celebration After NDA's Historic Victory In Bihar Elections 2025 - VIDEO

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the BJP headquarters on Friday evening amd chants of “Modi-Modi” to address party workers after the NDA’s historic win in the state. PM Modi, who entered the BJP headquarters in Delhi with the party’s national president JP Nadda, waved his gamcha (scarf) in the air, a gesture he had also made during the poll campaigning.

JP Nadda Thanks PM Modi

BJP chief JP Nadda thanked PM Modi for handing Bihar its hat-trick win, said the victory is a result of the people’s unwavering faith and love for him.

"On behalf of all workers, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to the people of Bihar for the resounding mandate they have given. These results indicate that this is a tsunami. This tsunami has made it clear that whether it is the people of Bihar or the people of the country, everyone has unwavering faith in the Prime Minister, and they have put a seal of approval on the politics of development to take the state forward...This election was between development and jungle raj, and people have voted for development," the BJP chief said.

"Jai Chhathi Maiya, yeh prachand jeet, atoot vishwas, Bihar ke logo ne bilkul garda uda diya hai, " Prime Minister Modi said as he began his address.

PM Modi Slams RJD & Congress

Hitting out at the RJD and Congress PM Modi said, "When I used to speak about Jungle Raj and Katta Sarkar in Bihar elections, the RJD party raised no objections. However, this made the Congress uneasy. Today, I want to reiterate that Katta Sarkar will never return to Bihar...The people of Bihar have voted for Viksit Bihar."

NDA's Landslide Victory

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA is all set to script history. The alliance is currently leading on 202 of the 243 seats. The BJP is set to become the single largest party with a lead on 90 seats. The opposition Mahagathbandhan is currently leading on 35 seats, with the RJD being the major contributor. The RJD is currently leading on 26 seats, while the Congress is leading on just six.
