Pahalgam: A heart-breaking video has surfaced from Jammu & Kashmir's Pahalgam, where at least one person died and twelve others were injured after 2-3 terrorists wearing military uniforms opened fire on tourists in the Baisran area on Tuesday.
A video of one of the survivors has surfaced on the internet. The woman in the video can be heard saying,"Main yaha par thi side mei bhel puri kha rahi thi, mera pati side mei tha, ek insan aya ussne usko goli mar di, Ussne bola shayad Muslim nahi hai, ussne goli mar di."
Another woman can be seen in the video crying unconsolably and saying, "Mere pati ko bacha lo." Which roughly translates to "Please save my husband."
Another man can be seen in the video sitting on chair with blood on his hand while his wife pleads for help from the man recording the video. Bodies can be seen lying on the ground with blood on them. Reportedly, the couple had visited Jammu Kashmir for honeymoon.
An image of the woman sitting next to her husband's body, which is lying on the ground is also making rounds on the internet.
Meanwhile, Security forces and medical teams have rushed to the spot. Reportedly, in a telephonic conversation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit the attack site and take all suitable measures. It is feared that the death toll in the attack might rise.
