'Murdered, Body Chopped Into Pieces': UP Man Kills Wife, Scatters Parts Over 10 Km Across Shravasti - Gruesome Details Surface
A 31-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and chopped her body into pieces. The incident surfaced on Wednesday, May 14. The accused was arrested by the police. The victim's family alleged that she was being harassed by her husband and in-laws for dowry.

Lucknow: A shocking incident surfaced from Uttar Pradesh’s Shravasti district, where a 31-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and chopped her body into pieces. The accused, Saifuddin, threw Sabina’s body pieces across Shravasti, reported NDTV.
The incident took place earlier this week when the couple was travelling to Lucknow. As per the media reports, Saifuddin scattered the pieces of the body across 10 kilometres in the Shravasti area.

He also threw some parts of Sabina's body into a canal. The incident surfaced on Wednesday, May 14, after Sabin’s brother, Salahuddin, called her. However, her number was switched off. He then went to her home and found out that the couple had left for Lucknow.
As Salahuddin saw Saifuddin in the area. Sabina’s brother then filed a missing persons complaint. The police detained Saifuddin on the basis of suspicion. The accused kept misleading cops for a couple of days, reported NDTV.
However, after continuous interrogation, Saifuddin confessed to the crime. The accused revealed gruesome details. Saifuddin reportedly told the police that he had burnt his wife’s hand and hid it in a nearby garden.
The victim’s family alleged that Sabina’s husband and in-laws were harassing her for dowry.
A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.
