Notably, several flights have been cancelled to Indonesia’s Bali due to eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki. The eruption reportedly took place on Tuesday on the eastern island of Flores. Authorities have sounded an alert in the nearby areas.
“The height of the eruption column was observed at approximately 10,000 metres above the summit. The ash column was observed to be grey with thick intensity,” the volcanology agency said as reported by The Guardian.
So far, there are no reported of any casualties or collateral damage.
