Disturbing Visuals: Man Ends His Life By Jumping Under Moving Truck In Gujarat's Surat

Surat: A shocking incident surfaced from Gujarat's Surat, where a man ended his life by jumping under the wheels of a moving truck. The incident, which took place on July 14 near Puna Patiya Market, was caught on CCTV installed in the area. The disturbing visuals also surfaced on social media.

In the CCTV footage, it could be seen that a man standing near a bike suddenly rushed towards a truck and fell under its wheels. As soon as the rear tyre of the truck ran over the man, he did not move. Some passersby rushed towards him.

The man has been identified as a 31-year-old, Nilesh Bhaveshbhai Vaghmashi. The incident took place in Surat's Punagam area near a tea stall. Moments before taking the extreme step, Vaghmashi parked his bike near the tea stall and sent his sister's father-in-law to buy mawa, reported Dainik Bhaskar.

He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased originally hailed from a village in the Amreli district. As per the report, Vaghmashi had been working with his brother in a textile factory for years.

The police have seized the deceased's mobile phone and launched a detailed investigation into the matter. The reason why Vaghmashi took the extreme step is still not known.
