Delhi Rains: Portion Of Building Collapses In Hari Nagar; At Least 3 Injured
Amid heavy rains in Delhi, a portion of a building collapsed in South East Delhi on Saturday, August 5. The incident took place at Jaitpur area in Hari Nagar.

New Delhi: Amid heavy rains in Delhi, a portion of a building collapsed in South East Delhi on Saturday, August 5. The incident took place at Jaitpur area in Hari Nagar. Two fire engines have been sent to the spot.
After receiving the information, senior officials also rushed to the spot. At least three to four people sustained injuries in the incident, reported India Today.
A rescue operation is currently underway. So far, there are no reports of any casualties.
Delhi Rains:
Heavy rainfall lashed Delhi and surrounding areas on Friday night and early Saturday morning. Waterlogging and long traffic jams were reported in several areas of Delhi-NCR. The city was brought to a standstill as long traffic jams were reported in areas.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted thunderstorm and rains in Delhi on Saturday. Visuals of waterlogged roads also surfaced online.
The Delhi issued traffic advisory in the wake of Raksha Bandhan festival and incessant rains.
As per the Delhi Police, heavy rains caused waterlogging at GTK Depot, Jahangirpuri, and Adarsh Nagar, Meanwhile, traffic on old GT Road is likely to be severely affected.
