Delhi Elections 2025: AAP Files Complaint With ACB Against BJP Over 'Poaching' Attempt

AAP MP Sanjay Singh filed a complaint with the ACB on Friday. In his complaint, Rajya Sabha MP alleged that the AAP candidate Mukesh Ahlawat received a call at 12:09 PM yesterday, where he was offered ₹15 crore and a ministerial position.

Similar offers were made to other MLAs and candidates, he said.

After leaving ACB office, while speaking with media, Sanjay Singh said, "I have demanded an investigation into this matter and asked ACB to conduct a thorough probe. Another point to note is that when it comes to cases of murder, robbery, and rape in Delhi, does the LG act with the same urgency? No, he doesn't! But it’s good to see such prompt action in this case. I have personally submitted a written complaint requesting an investigation, and ACB will look into it.”

Accusing BJP of horse trading, he said, "BJP indulges in horse trading, BJP blatantly runs 'Operation Lotus'... A dishonest party that topples governments... In this matter, we ourselves have lodged complaint and sought investigation."

Meanwhile, a team of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials, who arrived at the residence of Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP's) national convener Arvind Kejriwal to probe his 'poaching claims,' served a notice to the former Delhi CM seeking details on Friday.

ACB officials left Kejriwal's residence one and a half hours after they arrived. AAP legal cell head Sanjeev Nasiar told news agency PTI that ACB officials had come without any notice.
