Central Railway Adds 117 General Coaches To 37 Pairs Of Mail/Express Trains To Meet Growing Demand
The augmentation, which began in June and July, gained momentum in November with the addition of 81 coaches to 26 trains. Further augmentation is expected to better serve passengers.

Central Railway is making dedicated efforts to meet the ever-increasing demand for General Coaches. A total of 117 additional General Coaches have been added to 37 pairs of Mail/Express trains running on Central Railway with 79 rakes. These additions will benefit more than 10,000 additional passengers daily.
The augmentation, which began in June and July, gained momentum in November with the addition of 81 coaches to 26 trains. Further augmentation is expected to better serve passengers.
