Caught On Camera: Live-In Couple Abducts 4-Year-Old Child From Jaipur Railway Station; Arrested
A couple allegedly abducted a four-year-old boy from Jaipur railway station on Friday, March 14. The accused Jeevika and Sundar Kashyap were not married but living together for a year.

Jaipur: A couple allegedly abducted a four-year-old boy from Jaipur railway station on Friday, March 14. The accused Jeevika and Sundar Kashyap were not married but living together for a year. Kashyap and Jeevika decided to abduct a child as they were unable to conceive, reported The Indian Express.
The abduction was captured on CCTV installed at the Jaipur Railway Station. The child was waiting for a train along with his mother when he was allegedly lured by Jeevika. She then reportedly abducted the child.

Kashyap and Jeevika were arrested two days later after the abduction in Rajasthan's Dausa district. As per the police, the couple had been planning to abduct a child for about eight months and also conducted a recce of the railway station before allegedly kidnapping the child, reported The Indian Express.
Notably, Jeevika was married to another man and had two children. However, for the past one year she has been living with Kashyap, who is a labourer. “Sundar got to know that Jeevika had undergone sterilisation and was unable to give birth to any more children. The couple got into a fight due to this, but then decided to kidnap a child… On March 14, they went to the Jaipur Railway Station and kidnapped the four-year-old boy when he was roaming around, away from his mother," SHO Arun Chaudhary of the Government Railway Police as quoted by the media house
After the incident, the police tracked Kashyap and Jeevika's mobile phones with the help of CCTV footage. After the police reached their location in Dausa, they found that the child was safe. The couple was arrested.
As per the police, the child was wearing new clothes. During the questioning, the accused told cops that they had bought new clothes, milk and chips before abducting the child.
The four-year-old boy was reunited with the family. Meanwhile, a detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.
