PM Modi Speaks To Elon Musk, Discusses 'Immense Potential For Collaboration In Technology & Innovation'

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday spoke to tech billionaire Elon Musk. During the telephonic conversation, PM Modi discussed potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation with Musk. The Prime Minister reiterated India's commitment to advancing our partnerships with the US in these domains.
"Spoke to @elonmusk and talked about various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year. We discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation. India remains committed to advancing our partnerships with the US in these domains," PM Modi said in an X post.
In February this year, during PM Modi's US visit, he met Musk at Blair House in Washington DC. The SpaceX CEO arrived at Blair House with his three young children. After the meeting, the Prime Minister shared a post on X stating that he discussed various issues, including space, mobility, technology and innovation, with Musk.
"Had a very good meeting with @elonmusk in Washington DC. We discussed various issues, including those he is passionate about such as space, mobility, technology and innovation. I talked about India’s efforts towards reform and furthering ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance.", PM Modi had said.
Before meeting Musk during his recent visit, PM Modi met the tech billionaire twice - in 2015 in California and in 2023 in New York.
