Biker Killed After Iron Pipe Falls From Moving Truck In Kerala's Thrissur

A young man was killed in a tragic road accident in Kerala's Thrissur district after an iron pipe reportedly fell from a moving truck and pierced his body while he was riding a motorcycle behind the vehicle.

The accident took place in front of the Highlight Mall in Kuttanellur, where the truck was transporting iron rods and pipes. According to the initial information, the truck suddenly applied its brakes near the mall, causing the pipes loaded at the rear to shift violently.

Some of the iron pipes then slipped out of the truck and fell onto the road. One of the pipes reportedly struck and pierced the young man, who was riding his motorcycle immediately behind the truck.

Locals and other motorists who witnessed the accident rushed to the injured man’s aid and took him to a nearby hospital. However, despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.

The accident caused significant disruption to traffic on the road, with vehicles held up for a considerable period following the incident.

Police reached the spot and began collecting details about the accident. Further investigation and legal proceedings are underway to determine the circumstances leading to the fall of the iron pipes and the fatal crash.
