Bengaluru Braces For Moderate Rainfall With Minimum Temperature To Drop Up To 19°C
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted moderate rainfall on Thursday. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to hover between 19°C and 21°C, respectively. The humidity level is expected to range around 86 per cent, which is higher than the humidity level on Wednesday.

Bengaluru: The city witnessed the sunrise at 06:32 am, and the sun is scheduled to set at 5:54 pm. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city is set to experience moderate showers on Thursday, December 12.
Cloudy skies are also forecasted in the city and will likely remain the same throughout the day. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to hover around 19 degrees Celsius and 21°C.
The humidity level is expected to range around 86 per cent, which is higher than the humidity level on Wednesday. Today, the wind is expected to blow steadily from the Northeast at a speed of 16 km/h, and the Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 76, indicating moderate air quality in the city.

Today, moderate rainfall with cloudy skies is predicted in the city. The rainfall is anticipated in the regions, including Chitradurga, Kolar Mysuru, Tumkur, Kodagu, and Chamarajanagar, among others. However, the minimum temperature in North Interior Karnataka is expected to drop in the coming days. Meanwhile, dry weather is expected in the other regions of Karnataka. Some parts of the North Interior Karnataka is expected to experience dense foggy weather.
The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) has shared a weather report on X and stated, "Effect of depression in Bay of Bengal Moderate rain is expected in the southern interior districts of the state, and heavy rain at scattered places today. Scattered moderate rain is expected in coastal and rainfed districts."

The city, which is set to see the Sunrise at 06:33 am, will experience heavy showers, and it will be accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. The sun is scheduled to set at 5:55 pm. The minimum and maximum temperatures will likely hover around 18°C and 25°C.
