Bengaluru Weather: IMD Forecasts Light To Moderate Rainfall For Next Few Days In Silicon Valley Of India; Check More Details

Bengaluru: The Silicon Valley of India woke up at 06: 08 AM and the Sun is expected to set at 6:32 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2025. After days of scorching heat, Bengaluru is set to set to experience light to moderate rainfall across the city, and the rainfall is likely to continue for the next few days. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the humidity is expected to be around 56 per cent, and the skies are expected to be cloudy and will remain the same throughout the day. The wind is expected to blow steadily from the Southeast at 10 km/h.

Rainfall is predicted in these regions

The state had been experiencing rising temperatures over the past few weeks. From today, the city is expected to experience pleasant weather conditions as light to moderate rainfall is predicted in the city. The weather department has issued a rain alert in these regions, including Uttara Kannada, Dakishna Kannada, Udupi, Bengaluru, Belagavi, Bagalkote, Dharwad, Koppal, Vijayapura, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagluru, Mandya, Ramanagara, Hassan, Mysuru, Tumakuru and Kodagu, among others.

IMD issued a yellow alert in these regions

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for the next five days on X and wrote, "Thunderstorm, lightning is likely across the state today & tomorrow, scattered moderate rain over coastal, hilly and south interior districts. Moderate rain with scattered showers is likely over North Interior districts." Rainfall is likely in these regions, and it is expected to be accompanied by squalls, thunderstorms, and lightning.

IMD predicted rainfall for April 14

Residents of the city will continue to experience cloudy skies on Monday, April 14, 2025. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 23 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively. Light to moderate rainfall is predicted in the city and the humidity will likely to be around 58 per cent.
