27-Year-Old Gujarat Man Dies In Paragliding Crash Near Dharamsala (Video)
This incident follows another tragic paragliding accident in January, when Khushi Bhavsar, a woman from Gujarat, died during a tandem flight. Two more fatalities were reported in separate paragliding accidents that same month.

A 27-year-old man from Gujarat died after his paraglider crashed near Kangra district’s Dharamsala on Monday. The victim has been identified as Satish. A video of the incident, showing the paraglider’s crash, has surfaced online.
According to reports, Satish took off from the Indru Nag paragliding site on Sunday with instructor Suraj, but their paraglider crashed shortly after take-off.
Satish suffered severe injuries in the accident and was rushed to Zonal Hospital in Dharamsala. He was later referred to another facility for advanced treatment but succumbed to his injuries. The instructor, Suraj, is still undergoing treatment.
Kangra Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Hitesh Lakhanpal confirmed that the deceased’s family has been informed about the incident.
Local police have launched an investigation into the case, and officials from the tourism department have also been asked to examine the matter.
