1 Dead, Another Injured As Tree Collapses On Moving Bike In Bengaluru (Video)

In a tragic incident in Bengaluru on Wednesday, an uprooted tree fell onto a moving bike, leaving one man dead and another seriously injured.

The incident, captured on a nearby CCTV camera, shows the tree collapsing onto the bike, causing both riders to crash to the ground. A delivery rider following closely behind narrowly avoided being hit by braking suddenly.

According to reports, the accident took place in Koramangala. Both victims were rushed to St John's Hospital, where the rider later succumbed to his injuries while the pillion passenger remains under treatment.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had earlier issued warnings about light to moderate rainfall and gusty winds across Bengaluru.

In a separate incident, a young man died in Ruhasa village, Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) after being struck by a falling tree.
