Plot

The film is based on Jay Bonansinga's novel of the same name. It follows the story of a hitman named Joe Flood, whose life changes when he meets a beautiful woman named Maize Barkley and falls in love with her. The veteran assassin, Joe, decides to retire from his dangerous profession, but his plans take a drastic turn when he learns that he is at risk for a brain disease and doesn't have much time left.

Later, he discovers that his health report was accidentally switched with another patient's at the hospital, and he is not, in fact, terminally ill. What will happen when he tries to take back his retirement plans, unaware of the challenges that lie ahead?
