India's Best Dancer 2 contestant Varun Dagar brutally assaulted by Delhi Police, video goes viral
Varun shared that the cops pulled him by his hair and punched him multiple times

Dancer Varun Dagar, who was one of the contestants on the popular dance-based reality show 'India's Best Dancer', was brutally thrashed in Delhi recently.
The dancer shared a video of the incident on his social media handle and wrote that he was assaulted and abused by officials of the Delhi Police as well as by other parking managers.
The video has gone viral on the internet and it caught the eyes of several netizens, including that of actor Rajesh Tailang, who wrote that he was ashamed to be a Delhi resident.

Varun took to his Instagram to share a video of the entire incident in which the cops in uniform can be seen pushing and hitting him.
Along with the video, he penned down his entire ordeal, which read, "When the police came to move me away from my spot near B Block, the parking managers also jumped in, and when people questioned the cops, they got involved in fisticuffs. I was packing up my things when the parking managers caught me by collar and abused me."
He went on to say, "A cop then caught me and pulled my hair. He also hit me with his elbow and punched me and dragged me to the police van. When I asked what wrong did I do, the cop said that he will explain it to me after reaching the police station."
"They had no right to assault me like this and I am now going to take legal action against them," Varun said.

Actor Rajesh Tailang, widely known for playing a Delhi Police cop himself in the web series 'Delhi Crime', shared the video on his Twitter handle and slammed the police officials.
"This is not a way to treat an artist. Feeling ashamed to be a Delhi citizen," Tailang tweeted.
Others too flooded Varun's comments section stating how the entire incident was wrong towards the dancer.
