Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, widely regarded for his dedication to fitness and well-being, has received praise from Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, for his influence in promoting a healthy lifestyle. In a recent interview, Rijiju stated how both he and Salman motivate one another through their shared commitment to fitness, discipline, and hard work.
He acknowledged Salman's support for the Fit India Movement and his involvement in promoting adventure sports and cycling in Arunachal Pradesh.
Rijiju expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am thankful to Salman for promoting the Fit India Movement. He also joined me in promoting adventure sports and cycling in Arunachal Pradesh, leaving his shooting commitments just to be with me.”
When asked if he had learned any fitness secrets from Salman, Rijiju told India Today, “I was already fit before meeting him. No, we don’t learn from each other. We inspire each other.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Sikandar.
Sikandar is all set to hit the silver screens on Eid this year, and it marks Salman's return to theatres in a full-fledged role after one-and-a-half years, his last film being, Tiger 3. In 2024, he played a special cameo in Varun Dhawan's Baby John.
Sikandar marks Salman's first collaboration with Ghajini director AR Murugadoss. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi and others.
