Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal Announce Pregnancy 3 Years After Marriage: 'A Tiny Heartbeat Is The Loudest Sound'
The couple had revealed last year that they had been "legally married" for 2.5 years, before tying the knot once again in a grand ceremony in October 2023

Bollywood lovebirds Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are all set to welcome their first child after nearly three years of being married. The couple had revealed last year that they had been "legally married" for 2.5 years, before tying the knot once again in a grand ceremony in October 2023.
On Friday, Richa and Ali took to their Instagram handles to share a joint post, announcing the good news to the world. They shared a romantic photo of the two, in which both of them can be seen gazing in each other's eyes.
"A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world," the caption read, along with an emoticon of a pregnant woman. They also shared a picture of a note, which read, "1+1=3".
As soon as they shared the news, the comments section under the post flooded with congratulatory wishes and blessings.
"I love you three," Dia Mirza commented, while Mrunal Thakur wrote, "Yayyy congratulations". "Call me when you need," Kalki Koechlin quipped.
Back in October 2023, Richa and Ali hosted grand pre-wedding festivities, in both Lucknowi and Punjabi style. Later, they even threw a star-studded reception bash in Mumbai, which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood.
Richa and Ali met in 2012 on the sets of their film Fukrey, and fell in love during the shoot. The couple had stated that despite being legally married for 2.5 years, they could not host a grand wedding because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other. And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends and are so very touched and grateful for all the blessings that are coming our way. We offer you nothing but our love," Richa had said in a statement.
