Actor Rana Daggubati, who is currently all over the news for his series 'Rana Naidu', recently opened up on getting corneal and kidney transplants and battling other health issues.

Not just that, but Rana also revealed that he suffers from partial blindness and cannot see from one eye.

Calling himself a 'Terminator', Rana stated that he does not hide his physical condition from the public as he wants to motivate them with his story.

Rana Daggubati on undergoing multiple surgeries

During an interaction with Mashable India, Rana shared that he suffers from partial blindness and that he cannot see from his right eye. "I can’t see from my right eye, so I operate in a different view," he said.

He added that he chose to speak up about getting a corneal transplant after he saw a kid upset because his mother had lost her eye.

The actor further stated that people who suffer from physical problems feel the weight even after getting it treated.

"I had a corneal transplant, I had a kidney transplant so it’s like I am almost the Terminator. So, I was like, ‘come on, I am still surviving and you just have to keep going’," he averred.

Rana Daggubati's work front

On the work front, Rana was recently seen in his web show 'Rana Naidu', which pitches him opposite his uncle Venkatesh Daggubati.

It is an official adaptation of the American crime drama show Ray Donovan.

The film has received mixed reviews from the audiences and has been criticised for its crass language and adult scenes.
