'No Brain, Bad Attitude': Abhinav Shukla SLAMS Asim Riaz For Distasteful Comment On Rubina Dilaik's Presence In Battleground

Actor Abhinav Shukla has come to the defense of his wife, actress Rubina Dilaik, after Asim Riaz questioned her participation in Battleground, a fitness-based reality show. Both Asim and Rubina appear on the show as team leaders, while cricketer Shikhar Dhawan serves as the judge.

A few days ago, Asim asked Rubina, "What are you doing here?" while implying that Battleground is meant for fitness enthusiasts, seemingly casting doubt on her suitability for the show.

When a fan asked Abhinav about his opinion in the comments section of his YouTube vlog, "What is your reaction to Asim telling Rubina that this show is for fitness and asking ‘What are you doing here?'", the actor didn't hold back.

He fired back with a sharp comment, accusing Asim of using performance-enhancing substances. "All jacked 💉 up muscle, no brain and bad attitude is not a sign of fitness," Abhinav wrote. He also implied that true fitness is more than just physical appearance, but it's about mindset, discipline, and attitude.

Abhinav has always been vocal about his love, admiration and support for Rubina, and this time was no different.

Asim Riaz kicked out of Battleground?

On Thursday, a report in India Today stated that Asim has been dropped from the reality show following a heated altercation with co-team leaders Abhishek Malhan and Rubina.

"What seemed like a normal tiff slowly became a massive fight. Asim allegedly also insulted Rubina Dilaik who intervened to sort out their differences. As things heated up, they all rushed to their vanity, calling off the shoot," a source informed the news portal.

Post the incident, Asim was reportedly asked to step away from the show. However, the report further stated that discussions are still ongoing between his team and the show's producers in an attempt to resolve the matter.

Neither Asim nor the show's makers have made an official statement yet.
