'Music Se Unka Koi Lena Dena Nahi Hai', Kailash Kher Takes A Dig At Reality Shows
Kailash Kher has been in the music industry for more than two decades, and he has always impressed one and all with his fantastic voice. Now, recently, at the Jaipur Literature Festival, the singer spoke about reality shows, and took a dig at them. He stated that the reality shows have nothing to do with music. Kailash Kher is unodubtedly one of the best singers we have in the industry. He has sung many film and non-film songs that had become a chartbuster. He has won many awards including Padma Shri award in 2017. While Kher judged the fourth season of Indian Idol, after that he has kept himself away from judging the reality shows.
A lot of singers and music composers have opened up about how reality shows are not real at all, recently, even Kher took a dig at them. Kher attended Jaipur Literature Festival, and while talking about reality shows, he said, "Yeh jo reality shows hote hai, woh music reality show bolke bechte hai aur aap jaise bade bade log unko sponsor karte hai. (These reality shows are there, they sell it to you in the name of music reality show, and big people like you sponsor it.)"
He further added, "But they are only filmy music reality show. Music se unka koi lena dena hai hie nahi. 2% jo bhel puri bech rahe hai in the name of film music woh usko promote karte hai. (They have nothing to do with music. Whatever 2% remix they are selling in the name of film music, they just promote that.)"
Just a few months ago, Sunidhi Chauhan's statement on reality shows had also gone viral. She had stated that earlier she enjoyed doing it, but now everything is doctored.
Kailash Kher has sung songs in multiple languages like Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, and more. We recently heard his voice in the Hindi version of Pushpa 2: The Rule. He had sung the song Kaali Mahaa Kaali which surely created an impact in the theatres.
