Mom-To-Be Deepika Padukone Flaunts Sindoor, Avoids Paps At Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's Wedding (VIDEO)

Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone attended the much-anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant today, July 12, at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai.

She looked stunning in Torani's red anarkali suit complemented by jewels from Chand Begum. Deepika was seen cradling her baby bump and flaunting her sindoor as she entered the venue. However, she did avoided posing at the red carpet for the paparazzi.

Deepika and Ranveer shared the pregnancy announcement in February of this year. They also mentioned that their baby is due in September this year.

The duo started dating in 2012 and got secretly engaged in 2015. The duo dated for six years before tying the knot on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy, with only close friends and family in attendance. 

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani. 

Recently, director Nag Ashwin revealed that the actress was pregnant on the very last days of filming for Kalki 2898 AD and Ranveer Singh, was also present on set while she was shooting the climax scene.

Her co-star Saswata Chatterjee said in an interview with News 18, “There is a scene in the film where I drag her by the hair. It was part of the last leg of the shoot and was shot in Mumbai because Deepika was pregnant by then. There was a lot of physical tussle in the scene, so I told Ranveer, don’t worry, for more physically challenging scenes, there’s a body double. He was so polite and humble. He smiled and said, I know, Dada.”

Next, she will be seen next in Singham Again alongside Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor.
