Don 3 was officially announced in 2023 with Ranveer Singh in the lead role, and later, it was announced that Kiara Advani will be seen as the female lead. When it comes to the antagonist, initially there were reports that Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda was approached for it, but he turned down the offer. Later, it was reported that Vikrant Massey will be seen as the villain in the Farhan Akhtar directorial, but recently, there were reports that he has opted out of the film.

A couple of days ago, a few reports suggested that Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra is in talks to play the role of the antagonist in Don 3. However, according to a report in Pinkvilla, the reports are fake, and Karan is not even being considered for the film.

If we talk about the casting of Don 3, there have been multiple changes. Reportedly, Kiara, who is currently on maternity break, has been replaced by Kriti Sanon. However, there's no announcement about it. There have been reports that the shooting of Don 3 will start by the end of this year.

Ranveer is stepping into Shah Rukh Khan's shoes to portray the character of Don. While netizens have been skeptical about the Dhurandhar actor taking the franchise forward, it will be interesting to see what response his performance will get.

Meanwhile, Karan will next be seen as the negative lead in the movie Silaa which stars Harshvardhan Rane and Sadia Khateeb in the lead roles. The film is directed by Omung Kumar, and the first look of the actor was unveiled a few days ago.

While sharing his first look from the film, Karan had posted on Instagram, "Khud hi khuda, khud hi insaaf! Khauf ka naya naam - ZEHRAAK."
