Bollywood actresses Sara Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor were brutally criticised by netizens on Tuesday night after videos of their ramp walks from India Couture Week in Delhi went viral. Netizens felt that both of them looked "uninterested", and the debate about actresses vs professional models got reignited once again.
Sara dazzled in a rose gold lehenga as she turned showstopper for Aisha Rao at India Couture Week. The lehenga was adorned with elements of nature, including palms, banana leaves and flowers. She opted for a muted makeup look and kept her hair down in loose waves.
However, her walk disappointed the fashion police, who felt that she was "too slow" and gave "too many expressions" that were not needed. "Who's even hiring her to walk? Absolute Disaster (sic)," a netizen commented, while another wrote, "Why does she have to walk with so many thumkas and what are those poses? (sic)." "This is horrible," a netizen stated.

Khushi, on the other hand, turned showstopper for designer Rimzim Dadu at India Couture Week. She wore a bralette and sculpted skirt, designed by reimagining the traditional crafts of Gujarat like patola and mirror work. However, she seemed "too bored" to walk in the gorgeous outfit, as per the fashion police.
"She has that “uncle with arthritis walking around the park” energy (sic)," a user commented, while another wrote, "This is too much of a zombie walk (sic)."
Netizens also opined, "Better stick to models than hiring these nepo babies as showstoppers (sic)."

On the work front, Sara was recently seen in Anurag Basu's Metro...In Dino, which performed decently at the box office. She was paired opposite Aditya Roy Kapur, and the film also starred Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona SenSharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, and others.
As for Khushi, she last featured in Nadaaniyan opposite Ibrahim Ali Khan, but the film tanked miserably, and both the actors were trolled for their poor performances.
