Enrique Iglesias, Spanish Pop Sensation, To Perform In Mumbai Soon? Reports Surface
Enrique last performed in India in 2012, making stops in Pune, Gurugram, and Bengaluru

Spanish pop sensation Enrique Iglesias is rumoured to be making a long-awaited return to India, with a possible performance in Mumbai this October. Despite the buzz, there’s been no official announcement from Iglesias or his team.
As of now, Mumbai does not feature in the list of cities on his official tour schedule, sparking speculation about whether the concert is still in the planning stages or awaiting final approval. According to reports by HT, a Gujarat-based event management company is working to bring the global icon back to Indian shores after more than a decade.
A history with India
Enrique last performed in India in 2012, making stops in Pune, Gurugram, and Bengaluru. Before that, his first-ever concert tour in the country took place in 2004. Known for hits like Hero, Bailamos, and Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You), the artist attracted massive crowds during both tours.
The 50-year-old singer has never shied away from expressing his affection for India. In a 2019 throwback post on Instagram, Iglesias shared a video clip showing an Indian fan excitedly following his car just to catch a glimpse of him.
The moment, originally filmed by a Mexican TV channel during one of his India visits, captured the passion of his Indian fan base. Captioning the post, he wrote: "One of my favourite places in the world! I love you #India. Can’t wait to be back!! #Throwback"
In past interviews, Iglesias has consistently mentioned India among the countries closest to his heart.
India’s growing global music scene
India continues to cement its place on the global concert map. In recent years, the country has hosted a string of international superstars, including Coldplay, Maroon 5, Bryan Adams, Alan Walker, Akon, Glass Animals, Dua Lipa, and DJ Tiësto. This weekend, legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses is set to perform, and later this year, rapper Travis Scott is also expected to hit the stage.
Fans across the country are keeping a close watch on Enrique's tour updates, hoping for an official confirmation soon.
