Ahmednagar : MLA Sangram Jagtap has announced a free screening of the Vicky Kaushal-starrer Chaava, in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. This special arrangement has been made for the 'Ladki Bahins' for 8 days. The initiative aimed at providing the knowledge and achievements of Chhatrapati Shambaji Maharaj. Also, he requested to make Chhava a tax-free film and encouraged all Maharashtra citizens to watch it.

Reason for Free Tickets

The initiative aims to educate people about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Maharashtra's history. The film highlights his contributions, and Jagtap wants more people to learn about his legacy and life work, for that MLA made it free for women to watch in theatres.

According to TV9 Marathi, MLA Sangram Jagtap declared that the film Chhaava would be shown for free for eight days to Ladki Bahin in Ahmednagar city.

Vicky Kaushal's film Chhava, directed by Laxman Utekar, gained huge attention at the box office. The Chhava movie was released on February 14 and took the spotlight at the box office. The film, one of the most anticipated releases of 2025, stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj alongside Rashmika Mandanna.
