The Kerala Story fame Adah Sharma to play a cop in The Game of Girgit opposite Shreyas Talpade

Actress Adah Sharma, who is garnering praises for her latest film The Kerala Story, will next be seen playing the role of a police officer in The Game of Girgit opposite Shreyas Talpade.

The film is loosely based on the infamous ‘Blue Whale Game’ that became popular amongst the youngsters. The youth across the globe got hooked to the game and it became a major point of discussion as it led to various hazardous events and deaths.

Adah, who played a cop before in Commando, said that it is fun to play the role of a police officer once again.

On the other hand, Shreyas said that the plot of the film is extremely interesting and that intrigued him to be associated with the film. "The thriller also has a powerful message that we strongly feel should reach the audiences, especially the kids and the youngsters of the nation," he added.

The Game of Girgit is being directed by Vishal Pandya.

Adah receives praises for The Kerala Story

Adah Sharma has left the audiences surprised with her performance in Sudipto Sen's The Kerala Story. The film got mired in controversy and became a talking point ever since its trailer was shared.

However, Adah has received rave reviews and her performance is one of the major highlights of the film.

Adah made her acting debut with the Hindi horror film 1920 in 2008, directed by Vikram Bhatt. She has also worked in several Telugu films.
