Salman Khan's much-hyped 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' finally hit the theatres on Friday, ahead of the auspicious occasion of Eid.
While excited fans lined up outside theatres to watch the first show of the film, 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' also met with opposition from a section of the internet.
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Priyanka Singh was among the many netizens who called for the boycott of 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'.
Boycott 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' trends on Twitter
On Friday morning, #BoycottKisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan trended on Twitter, with netizens urging people to not watch the Salman-starrer in theatres.
Priyanka took to her Twitter handle to claim that Sushant had predicted that Bollywood will collapse one day.
She also wrote that she is currently facing on a daily basis what Sushant faced when he was alive.
"Sushant Predicted BW Collapse. What Sushant faced and what I am made to face on daily basis, I certainly #BoycottBollywood
#BoycottKisiKaBhaiKisiKiJaan," she tweeted.
About 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'
'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' released in cinemas on Friday and it marks Salman's return to the family entertainer genre after four long years.
The film also stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari, Vijender Singh, Siddharth Nigam, among others.
The film has been directed by Farhad Samji and early predictions suggest that it might see a Rs 20 crore opening.
