Shatrughan Sinha says KRK is 'victim of conspiracy', calls him 'self-made man'
KRK has been arrested for derogatory tweets against Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, and also for demanding sexual favours from an actress
Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha has come out in support of Kamaal Rashid Khan, who has been arrested over his tweets against Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. He has also been charged with accusations of demanding sexual favours from an actress.
On Monday, Sinha tweeted that KRK was a self-made man and that he speaks his mind out without fear. "One should not forget that Kamal Rashid Khan @kamaalrkhan & one should always remember that despite great opposition & struggle the 'KRK' is a self made man, he has the blessings of the Almighty. He has made his place in the film industry, as well as society on his own," his tweet read.
He added, "His biggest asset has been his confidence, he seems to speak without any fear or favour. He doesn't shudder to speak his mind against all odds as he has the conviction & freedom of opinion/speech of any kind, within the framework of law/constitution, even if not accepted."
Sinha went on to claim that KRK was a "victim of conspiracy". He wrote, "He seems to be a victim of conspiracy of circumstances. God Bless him! Hope, wish & pray that Kamal Rashid Khan gets justice which he deserves soon, sooner the better. Jai Hind!"
It is to be noted that Sinha has been supporting KRK even after the latter has often taken mean digs at his daughter Sonakshi Sinha. The two have often found each other at loggerheads on social media, with the actress once calling KRK "a waste of space".
