Sameera Reddy reveals she was asked to get b**b job: 'I had to pad my chest, thought it was the norm'

Actress Sameera Reddy, who is now a staunch advocate of body positivity and self love, revealed that during her initial days in the industry, she was asked to get several surgeries done to achieve the perfect body.
In an interview with Midday, Sameera revealed that she would starve herself or consume very less quantity of food to ensure she did not gain weight.
She also said that she considered going under the knife as she thought that it was the norm back then.
'Was told to get a b**b job'
Sameera told the portal that after her debut film 'Maine Dil Tujhko Diya' in 2002, she earned the title of 'Sexy Sam' and looking a certain way did not make the journey easy for her.
She revealed that she was asked to get several corrective surgeries done on her face and body, and that she was even told to get a b**b job done. "There was a crazy phase about 10 years ago where everybody was getting plastic surgery, boob job, change nose or bone structure. I had to always pad my chest. and was told to get a boob job done. Many times, I would think, 'Should I? Is this the norm?' because it was so openly spoken about," she said.

However, she added that she is grateful she did not go under the knife as she would now have been uncomfortable about it.
Sameera further stated that she does not judge those who get corrective surgeries done. "It is their choice. If it makes them happy, I say live and let live," she said.
