Kuttey: Shahid Kapoor's Dhan Te Nan from Kaminey will be a part of Aasmaan Bhardwaj’s directorial debut film

Shahid Kapoor's Kaminey track 'Dhan Te Nan' was one of the chartbusters during its time. Bringing the track back, Aasmaan Bhardwaj is all set to bring 'Dhan Te Nan's 'Kuttey' version. 

After releasing 'Kuttey's first track 'Awaara Dogs', the makers will be releasing 'Dhan Te Nan's new version soon this week.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj's son Aasmaan Bhardwaj, the trailer brings seven grey-shaded characters onboard. 

The film stars Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Tabu, Kumud Mishra and Radhika Madan in the film.

Talking about Arjun Kapoor's cop character, Arjun said, “For me to play a cop in 'Kuttey' was a fulfilling experience, because to be a law-abiding person and to try and operate out of the law was an interesting dichotomy to have to play a corrupt official. It was very exciting to wear the uniform, wear the cap, do the salute, look and feel the part.”

‘Kuttey’ is produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banner of Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. The film’s music will be scored by Vishal Bhardwaj with lyrics penned by Gulzar. 'Kuttey' will release in cinemas on 13th January 2023.
