Kangana Ranaut says Wikipedia is 'hijacked by leftists' as information about her birthday is wrong: 'Warped again'

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has claimed that Wikipedia has been 'hijacked by leftists' as the information about her birthday and background is 'warped'.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Kangana said that her birthday falls on March 23 and not the given date on the website which states it is on March 20.

"Wikipedia is totally hijacked by leftists, most of the information about me like my birthday or my height or background is totally wrong... no matter how much we try to rectify it, it's warped again. Anyway many radio channels, fans clubs, and well wishers start to send birthday greetings on 20th March," she wrote.

"I don't mind but honestly many are confused because Wikipedia says my birthday is on 20th March and I celebrate on 23rd March, my birthday is on 23rd March... please don't go back Wikipedia it's totally wrong and misleading information there, thanks," Kangana added.

It may be mentioned that soon after Kangana shared the post, her Wikipedia page was edited and it now shows her birth date as March 23.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana Ranaut has wrapped up shooting for Chandramukhi 2. She also has other films like Emergency, Tejas, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda and The Incarnation: Sita lined up.

In Emergency, she is set to essay the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. The film is also being directed by Kangana, and it also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, late actor Satish Kaushik and Mahima Chaudry, among others.

Besides, she also has a biopic of one of the most iconic names in the history of Bengal, Noti Binodini.
