Ganeshotsav 2022: Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol revisit Bal Ganesh temple in Karjat, where they prayed for a baby
The couple had opened up about the problems they faced to conceive

Festival season is here as the country celebrates the ten-day-long Ganesh Chaturthi starting today.
Ganesh Chaturthi or Ganpati Utsav, which starts on the fourth day of the Hindu lunisolar calendar month Bhadrapada, is celebrated with much fanfare in Maharashtra and other parts of western and southern India with lakhs of devotees converging into pandals to seek blessing from Lord Ganesha. The festival is also known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Chavithi.
Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, Bollywood actress Amrita Rao and her husband RJ Anmol revisited the famous ‘Bal Ganesh Temple’ in Karjat. Earlier the couple had opened up about the problems they faced to conceive. In a new video shared by them on their YouTube channel - Couple of Things, they revealed that they are visiting a Lord Ganesha temple where they had prayed for a baby in 2018. They welcomed their son Veer in 2020.
While mentioning the reason behind their visit to Bal Ganesh Temple in Kadav village in Karjat Taluka in Maharashtra, Anmol said, “We have told you in a previous blog how we struggled to conceive and we were trying to do several things just to make that happen. At that time someone told us that there is a temple in Karjat jahan aap bacche ki mannat mangenge toh poori hogi. We went there in 2018 and now our wish has been fulfilled. The Bal Ganesh temple where we prayed for Veer. We prayed right here for a baby and today we have Veer. We will begin the puja soon.”
Amrita is best known for films like "Ishq Vishk", "Main Hoon Na", and "Vivah". She was last seen in the 2019 political drama "Thackeray".
