Asim Riaz Calls Ex Himanshi Khurana A 'Fame Digger'? Bigg Boss 13 Fame Claims Their Relationship Was Always A 'Career Move' Not Love

Himanshi Khurana's ex-boyfriend Asim Riaz has seemingly taken a dig at the actress after she opened up about battling anxiety, depression, thyroid issues and other health struggles, which she attributed to a difficult relationship. In his latest post, Asim seemingly called Himanshi a "fame digger" and claimed that she got into a relationship with him as a "career move" rather than out of love.

Asim took to his Instagram Stories to share a cryptic note, seemingly referring to Himanshi without naming her. He wrote, "A fame digger doesn't love you they love your name, your image and what standing beside you makes them look like."

He further suggested that some people may label their relationships as love, but their intentions are actually career-driven. Asim wrote, "They call it love, but it was always a career move." He concluded the note by stating, "A name takes years of pain to build, you don't get to borrow it and pretend you built it."

Following Asim's post, several social media users reacted to his cryptic message. One user questioned his claim and wrote, "Fame digger how? We had already seen her working in the Punjab industry before Bigg Boss. Nobody even knew you back then." Another commented, "But, Wasn’t Himanshi more successful than you in Punjab industry?"

However, some users also supported Asim and criticised Himanshi. One user claimed, "When she has no other way left to gain fame. She tries to gain sympathy by blaming all her failures on Asim." Another wrote, "Asim now plz don't give her attention."

The Asim Riaz-Himanshi Khurana controversy resurfaced after Himanshi spoke about their past relationship in Paras Chhabra’s podcast. While she did not name Asim directly, she discussed the religious differences that eventually contributed to their 2023 breakup. Himanshi clarified that she would not call it “conversion”, but said her former partner would explain the “good things” about his religion and wanted her to understand and accept it. She said, “They wanted me to understand it and accept it, but it was not acceptable to me,” adding, “Aisa feel hua ki main apne Bhagwan ko dhokha de rahi hoon.” She also opened up about her health struggles after Bigg Boss, claiming she battled “thyroid, depression, anxiety, hypertension,” along with nosebleeds, acne and smell from hair, and said she eventually realised she was in an unhealthy relationship after being hospitalised.

Asim subsequently hit back at her claims, denying that he had ever asked her to change her religion. He wrote, "I never asked anyone to change their religion. Not once," and accused her of using religion to turn people against him. He added, "So why did you msg me after 3 months in March and wanted to get back to this relationship," claiming that he had screenshots of their messages.
