'Akshay Kumar Has Invested Money': Priyadarshan Reacts To Legal Action Taken Against Paresh Rawal For Walking Out Of Hera Pheri 3

Paresh Rawal has walked out of Hera Pheri 3. Reportedly, there was a creative difference between him and director Priyadarshan, but later the actor had clarified that the reason behind his exit is not creative difference. On Tuesday, a report in Hindustan Times claimed that Akshay Kumar, who is also producing the film, has sued Paresh for Rs. 25 crore for abandoning and sabotaging the movie.

Now, while talking to HT City, director Priyadarshan has spoken about Rawal's exit and the legal tussle. He stated, "I don't know why this happened because Paresh didn't inform us. Before starting the film, Akshay asked me to check with both Paresh and Suniel and I did and both were onboard."

"I don't have anything to lose but Akshay has invested money and that could be the reason why he is taking this action. Paresh Rawal hasn't spoken to me till date," he added.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has not yet given any statement regarding Paresh's exit or the legal action.

Interestingly, Priyadarshan, Akshay, and Paresh have teamed up for Bhooth Bangla which is slated to release next year. Recently, the shooting of the film was wrapped up.

After wrapping up the film, Akshay had posted on Instagram, "And that’s a wrap on #BhoothBangla ! Meanwhile, there were reports that Akshay, Suniel, and Paresh have shot for the announcement teaser of Hera Pheri 3, and it was supposed to be launched during the IPL. However, there's no update on it.
