Ajith Kumar Escapes Injury After Minor Accident During Practice For Racing Event In Portugal, Car Damaged
Tamil actor Ajith Kumar met with a minor accident again while practicing for a race event in Portugal. He escaped unhurt, but his car was damaged. Currently in Portugal for a motorsport event in Estoril, the Vidaamuyarchi star said, “We had a minor accident, but we’ll win again. Thanks to friends who supported us.”

Tamil actor Ajith Kumar met with a minor accident once again while practicing for a race event in Portugal. While he escaped unhurt, his car sustained damage. The actor, who recently delivered a box-office hit with his latest release Vidaamuyarchi, is currently in Portugal ahead of a major motorsport racing event in Estoril.
After the accident, the 53-year-old said in an interview, "We are having a good time again. We got into a minor accident. Fortunately, nothing happened to anyone. We will win the car race again and establish our pride. We would like to thank the friends who supported us during the accident."

Meanwhile, this is the second time Ajith faced a racing mishap.
In January, the actor escaped a high-speed crash during a practice session at the Dubai Autodrome while driving a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup car. is car lost control and collided with the boundary, but the actor was not hurt from the accident.
Recently, Ajith received the prestigious Padma Bhushan award on January 25th, 2025. Expressing gratitude, the actor said, "I am deeply humbled and honoured to receive the esteemed Padma Award by the President of India. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu and the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi for this prestigious honour. It is a privilege to be recognized at such a level and I am truly grateful for this generous acknowledgment of my contributions to our nation."
Ajith also remembered his late father and said, "I wish my late father had lived to see this day. Yet, I like to think he would be proud that his spirit and legacy live on in all that I do. I want to thank my mother for her unconditional love and the sacrifices that enabled me to become all that I could be."
