69th National Film Awards: Rakshit Shetty's 777 Charlie Wins Best Kannada Film
The movie traces the emotional relationship of a lonely man and his loyal dog

At the recently announced 69th National Film Awards, Rakshit Shetty's 777 Charlie emerged the Best Kannada Film despite the humongous popularity of KGF 2 and Kantara, in comparison.
Tracing the emotional relationship of a lonely man and his four-legged Labrador Retriever named Charlie, the movie warmed the hearts of audiences across the country and the globe for its heartaching story.
Directed by Kiran Raj K, the movie stars Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj Shetty, Danish Sait, Bobby Simha and Abhijit Mahesh. Kiran took to his social media to share a heartwarming video of his mother jumping in excitement as and when his winning moment was announced. He captioned the post saying, "Caught the moment in the camera. Amma’s excitement says it all #777Charlie #NationalFilmAwards @paramvah_studios."

Rakshit also shared his jubilation on his Instagram story. He wrote, "Words cannot justify the happiness and delight this news has delivered!
