UPSC EPFO 2025 Short Notification Out; Know Application Dates, Exam Details

UPSC EPFO 2025 Notification: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a short recruitment notice for EPFO 2025 (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation). As per media reports, the detailed notice will be published on July 26, 2025.

A total of 230 posts of Employees' Provident Fund Organisation will be filled through this recruitment process. There are 156 Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EO/AO) posts and 74 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) posts.

As per the short notice, applications will be accepted from July 29 to August 18, 2025. This recruitment campaign presents a great chance for graduates who are eager to establish a secure and renowned career within the central government department.

Exam Details

The recruitment for both EO/AO and APFC will be done on the basis of a written examination, along with an interview. The written test will be objective-type multiple-choice questions, and will be held in both Hindi and English. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer, which will be one-third of the marks prescribed for the question, but no penalty for unattempted questions.

Candidates in the category of PwD will be provided with compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour during the test and will be able to benefit from the use of a scribe, as per the guidelines.

Both the EO/AO and APFC posts come under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. These posts are regarded as most sought after among job seekers owing to their administrative status, job security, and career development opportunities.
