The city intimation slip for the UGC NET 2024 December session exam was made public today, December 24, by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The city notification slip is now available for candidates to download via the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The UGC NET December 2024 exam, which will be taken in CBT mode from January 3 to January 16, 2025, offers opportunities in 85 topics for Junior Research Fellowships, Assistant Professor positions, and combined eligibility for Assistant Professor employment and PhD admissions.
To download the UGC NET city intimation slip online, candidates must enter the following login information: Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin.
How to Download?
Step 1: Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in, the official website.
Step 2: From the portal, select the link for the UGC NET exam city intimation slip.
Step 3: The screen will show a new login window.
Step 4: Enter your birthday and application number.
Step 5: The city intimation slip for the UGC NET exam will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download and print the UGC NET city intimation slip.

Exam pattern
The UGC NET December exam pattern consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, conducted in a single online session lasting 3 hours. Paper 1 is compulsory for all candidates, assessing general teaching and research aptitude through 50 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks, with no negative marking.
Paper 2 is subject-specific, containing 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks, with no negative marking. The medium of the question paper is English and Hindi.
