UCEED 2025: IIT Bombay Declares Results, Over 5,700 Candidates Qualify
The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) on Friday announced the results for the Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2025. A total of 15,408 candidates appeared for the examination held on January 19, out of which 5,703 candidates have qualified.

Mumbai: The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) on Friday announced the results for the Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2025. A total of 15,408 candidates appeared for the examination held on January 19, out of which 5,703 candidates have qualified.
Shreyansh Agarwal secured the top position in the Common Rank List (AIR 1) with 230.16 marks out of 300. Among female candidates, Manasvi Saratchandar emerged as the highest scorer, securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 9 with 201.53 marks.
Of the qualified candidates, 3,420 are female. The distribution of qualified candidates across different categories includes 3,215 from the Open category (non-PwD), 1,295 from the Other Backward Classes - Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), 235 from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 750 from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, and 157 from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. Additionally, 51 candidates from the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category successfully cleared the examination.

In terms of gender representation, 2,283 male candidates and 3,420 female candidates qualified for UCEED 2025. However, no transgender candidates qualified despite four candidates appearing for the exam.
The examination also witnessed participation from international candidates, with 62 foreign nationals qualifying.
