Study In UK: The University of Worcester has declared merit-based scholarships for Indian students enrolling in postgraduate courses from January 2026. The deserving students will be granted financial support of up to £3,000 per annum, easing financial pressures while pursuing further studies in the UK.

Job-oriented learning

The scholarships are part of one component of the university's broader initiative to attract foreign students, particularly Indians, looking for postgraduate education leading to careers. Worcester has been named a finalist for the Times Higher Education University of the Year 2025.

According to the Graduate Outcomes Survey 2024, 96% of its graduates are employed or in further study within 15 months of completing their degree.

The university employs more than 500 students each year and partners with over 1,000 industry organisations, creating opportunities for work-based learning.

Nick Slade, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor (International & External Affairs), emphasised the significance of such opportunities, noting that Worcester's programs are set up to equip students for long-term success in local and international job markets.

Dr. Scott Andrews, Worcester Business School Dean, pointed out that the school's longitudinal research revealed work-based placements worked extensively to enhance the performance of management students for a period of six years.

With the intake of January 2026, Indian students are able to avail themselves of scholarships, work experience, and various postgraduate offerings that facilitate connecting academic study with vocational skills.
