SSC Stenographer 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the city intimation slip for the Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination 2025. SSC Stenographer Examination 2025

The SSC Stenographer Examination 2025 is planned to take place from August 6 to August 8 at various exam sites around the country.  The Commission has declared 1,590 openings, with 230 for Grade 'C' and 1,360 for Grade 'D', split across numerous ministries, departments, and government agencies.

About scribes

Applicants who needed scribes were allowed to suggest their own, with the scribe's information required to be submitted via the official portal. The deadline to register scribe information was August 2, 2025.

The SSC has stated that only pre-registered scribes would be permitted to enter the test location. No offline or last-minute adjustments will be accepted.
