Air Quality Concerns Lead to Immediate Action
The move is in line with the implementation of Stage-IV actions under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) to combat hazardous air quality levels in the National Capital Region (NCR). As air pollution levels rise, this measure aims to protect student safety and well-being.
The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has issued directives for schools in Faridabad and Gurugram to conduct classes online where feasible. The CAQM's official notice emphasizes the urgent need to implement Stage-IV actions under the updated GRAP schedule across NCR regions.
Hybrid Mode of Teaching for Classes Up to IX and XI
According to the CAQM notice, schools in Faridabad and Gurugram are now required to conduct classes for students in classes up to IX and XI in a hybrid mode, combining both physical and online learning, with immediate effect until further notice.
